Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Complete rough-in and final electrical on new residences

  • Understand and apply blueprints and technical diagrams

  • Inspection electrical components including transformers and circuit breakers

  • Use hand and power tools

  • Use testing devices to identify and report electrical problems

  • Adhere to state and local building regulations

  • Calculate material take-off's

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Calculate material take-off's

  • Knowledge of rough-in and final electrical on new residences

  • Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring

  • Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components

  • Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and standards

  • Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning

  • Calibrate equipment to provided specifications

  • Knowledge of home automation systems is an asset

  • Proficiency reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams Troubleshoot problems

  • Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment

  • Physical ability and stamina

  • Supervise and train others in the installation and repair of electrical components

  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
