Concrete and Rebar Skilled Laborers

Kris Halliday is an internationally acclaimed designer and builder, creating the absolute best luxury mansions in the world. Kris and the MKH Developments team strive to bring only the newest innovations and a fresh perspective to designing and building luxury mansions that exceed a certain size threshold.

 
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare rebar and mesh for installation using equipment such as metal shears, hacksaws, and torches

  • Bending or welding rebar together

  • Install cables

  • Tie wire around rods to fasten them together

  • Position and securing rods, cables, mesh, or rebar in concrete forms

  • Determine quantities, sizes, shapes, and locations of reinforcing rods from blueprints, sketches, or oral instructions

  • Mix concrete

  • Pour or place concrete

  • Install rebar, expansion joints, or carbon fiber

  • Repair concrete structures

  • Proficiency with application of finishing coat

  • Follow all safety protocols when using tools and equipment

  • Mindful of maintaining a clean workspace

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Two or more years of concrete and rebar experience

  • Physical Strength and Stamina: The job requires carrying heavy loads and spending many hours standing, as well as bending and stooping as workers install rebar

  • Hand-Eye Coordination: Workers must be able to tie rebar together quickly, as construction usually is very fast-paced

  • Confidence Working at Heights

  • Balance: Workers often must stand and walk on narrow beams while reinforcing construction

  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
