Plumber
Duties and Responsibilities:

Install new services on new houses
-
Locates and marks position of pipe and pipe connections and passage holes for pipes in walls and floors, using ruler, spirit level, and plumb bob
-
Cuts openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings, using hand tools and power tools
-
Cuts and threads pipe, using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe-threading machine
-
Install plumbing finishing and equipment as per plans
-
Studies building plans and working drawings to determine work required and sequence of installations
-
Inspects structure to ascertain obstructions to be avoided to prevent weakening of structure resulting from installation of pipe
-
Calculate material take-off's
Requirements and Qualifications:
-
5+ years of plumbing commercial and/or residential experience / Journeyman
-
Plumbing State license Master or Journeyman card preferred but not required
-
Licenses for plumbing, mechanical and gas
-
Experience with fan coils, air conditioner units, geothermal systems

Water heaters
-
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, layouts, and specification (structural, architectural, civil, plumbing and cut sheets)

Must be organized and maintain a clean work site

Able to work with a vast range of materials and know proper installation of products

Set all types of fixtures for finish
-
Working knowledge of installing electrical systems in a new construction setting Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
